Madison Central School Board approves DSU facility use agreement

The Madison Central School Board approved a facility use agreement with Dakota State University during its meeting on Monday.

Business Manager Mitchell Brooks said the agreement is a three-year agreement from July of 2020 to June of 2023. The agreement states that DSU agrees to provide the Madison Central School District the usage of Trojan Field, track, and practice facilities, and outlines the parameters of that use.

Brooks said the annual usage fee for the district was 55-hundred dollars for the previous fiscal year, and then will be 65-hundred dollars for FY22, and 75-hundred dollars for FY23.

The board unanimously approved the three year DSU Facility Use Agreement, with board member Angi Kappenman abstaining from the vote.Â
