The school board accepted the early retirement requests after a short executive session during Monday’s meeting.

School board members also took other personnel action during Monday’s meeting.  They approved the hiring of Brad Eichmann as Director of Maintenance effective January 6th.  Eichmann will receive a prorated rate of 22-thousand-750 dollars for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.  The board also approved the hiring of Lexi Robson as a Playground Supervisor at a rate of $9.40 per hour.

Board members Monday also approved the resignation of Julia Schlesser as a Speech Pathologist, effective at the end of the school year, and Richard Caldwell as an elementary school custodian, effective January 15th.

A second executive session was held at the end of Monday’s school board meeting.  Action taken after that executive session included a motion to add an additional year onto the superintendent’s contract with the salary for this additional year to be determined at a later date at an equal or greater amount.
