Two positive COVID-19 cases have been reported within Madison Middle School.  On Wednesday, Madison Central Superintendent Joel Jorgenson notified parents that two students or staff members in Madison Middle School had tested positive.  Jorgenson said the school district is working with the state Department of Health to determine if there are any additional students who would be considered close contacts.  Parents of anyone considered a close contact will be notified by the school district and the state Department of Health.

The two cases reported Wednesday bring the district’s overall total number of positive cases to 20 since early September.
