Madison Central reports two positive COVID-19 cases in Elementary School

Two more positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Madison Central School District.  School officials informed parents Wednesday that two students or staff members at Madison Elementary School have tested positive for COVID-19.  The district informed parents of it’s first positive case of the school year on Monday, also in Madison Elementary School.

With the two most recent positive cases, the district is working with the state Department of Health to determine if there are any additional students who would be considered close contacts.  School officials will notify the parents of any student considered to be a close contact.
