One more positive COVID-19 case has been reported within the Madison Central School District.  Superintendent Joel Jorgenson said Monday that a student or staff member at Madison High School has tested positive for COVID-19.  As with other positive cases in the district, Jorgenson said that the district is working with the state Department of Health to determine any close contacts.  Parents or guardians of any close contacts will be notified by the district with an e-mail and a phone call.

With this additional positive case, the total number of cases overall within the district is 32 since early September. The district will update information on the number of active and recovered cases within the district weekly on Wednesdays on the school district’s website.
