Madison Central providing free meals through end of year

The Madison Central School District will be providing free breakfast and lunch meals for all students through December 31st.  Madison Central Business Manager Mitch Brooks said that the district was approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide the meals to all students under the Seamless Summer program.

Brooks said the district has begun the process of crediting back any student meals that have been purchased since October 1st.  He said that there will still be a charge for any extra entrees, milk or other food items.  Brooks said that the regular cost of meals will resume in January.Â
