Lewis & Clark Regional Water Project hitting record production

One of the larger water projects in the region is feeling the heat as demand rises.

Troy Larson, Executive Director of the Lewis & Clark Regional Water Project, said they hit record production each day for the last week.

Larson said some of the cities they serve are using other water sources too.  He said they are adding another large capacity well, but not this year.

Water is currently being delivered to fifteen of the twenty members who are a part of the Lewis and Clark Regional Water Project.  The city of Madison is one of the members not receiving water yet, along with four communities in Iowa.
