The Lewis & Clark Regional Water Project will be able to restart construction this spring. Executive Director Troy Larson says they have received official notification of federal funding for the project.

Larson says they have some projects to continue and some to start.

Larson says the funding keeps them close to their timeline.

Including the construction that will be completed with the Fiscal Year 21 federal funding, this will put Lewis & Clark at being approximately 86 percent complete.

The system is currently serving water to fifteen of its 20 members.  The City of Madison is one of the members yet to be connected, along with Hull, Sioux Center, Sheldon, and Sibley in Iowa.Â
