Laughs & Linguini event planned to support Domestic Violence Network

This weekend there’s a chance to have a few laughs and help out a local organization.  The Domestic Violence Network is holding its annual fundraiser – Laughs and Linguini – on Saturday at the Dakota Prairie Playhouse in Madison.

Board Member Vickie Walters said the Laughs and Linguini event includes dinner, a comedian, and a dessert auction.  Because of COVID-19, there is a limited number of in-person tickets for the event, but there will also be a virtual event for those who choose that option. Walters said tickets are 30-dollars and can be purchased online.

Walters said that those who choose to attend the event virtually will be able to pick up their dinner on Friday night and then will have a link to watch the comedian – Mike Brody – and take part in the dessert auction on Saturday night.

Walters said this event helps raise money for the Domestic Violence Network’s expenses and budget.

Doors to the in-person Laughs and Linguini Event open at 5:30 on Saturday.

Those interested in attending will need to purchase tickets before Saturday’s event.  Less than 50 tickets remain as of Monday morning.
