Lake County reports six new positive COVID-19 cases Saturday

An additional six new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported in Lake County on Saturday.  The state Department of Health reports an increase of six positive cases and one recovered case in the county Saturday.  Lake County’s total overall number of positive COVID-19 cases is now 63, with 43 recovered, and two deaths.  There are currently 18 active COVID-19 cases in Lake County, and there have been 832 negative tests.  

Statewide, an increase of 105 new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported Saturday, bringing the state’s total to 8305.  Of those, 876 cases are active, 46 people are currently hospitalized, and 122 people have died.  

Kingsbury County’s positive COVID-19 cases increased by one Saturday and there are now two active cases there.  McCook County currently has four active cases, Miner County has one, and Brookings County has seven active COVID-19 cases at this time.
