The state is reporting one new positive COVID-19 case in Lake County Friday.  There is also one more person who is reported as recovered.  Lake County’s totals include 57 positive COVID-19 cases overall, with 42 recovered and two deaths, putting the number of active cases now at 13.  There have been more than 800 negative tests in Lake County.  

Another death has been reported in the state as of Friday, putting the state’s total at 122.

There are 57 new positive COVID-19 cases statewide on Friday.  With the state’s total now at 8200 cases overall, 817 of them are active and 45 people are currently hospitalized. 

Other area counties with active coronavirus cases include Brookings County with eight, McCook with four, and Kingsbury and Miner counties each with one.
