Lake County Holding Meeting Wednesday to Discuss Zoning Ordinance Changes

The Lake County Planning Commission and County Commission will convene a special joint meeting this Wednesday, to discuss proposed zoning ordinance changes. 

Wednesday’s meeting is not a public hearing. If the Commissions decide to move forward with any changes to the ordinance, public hearings will be held at a later date. First District staff, the Zoning Office, the Commission Office, and the State’s Attorney’s Office will be present to facilitate the discussions and answer any questions from commission members.

Additionally, the Planning Commissioners and County Commissioners will discuss the Carbon Dioxide Pipeline Ordinance and Regulations, which was proposed by Planning Commissioner Aaron Johnson.

The meeting begins at 9am Wednesday, in the County Commission room of the Lake County Courthouse.
