Lake County has two active COVID-19 cases as of Thursday

Lake County is now reporting its 7th overall positive COVID-19 case.  The state Department of Health Thursday reports that Lake County has seven total cases, with five of them recovered and two active cases currently.  The state is not reporting community spread in the county at this time.  There have been 247 negative tests in Lake County as of Thursday.

Also in our area, Moody County currently has four active COVID-19 cases, and Brookings County has one.

Statewide, the number of positive COVID-19 cases increased by 83 Thursday to a total of 4793.  The number of people hospitalized increased to 105 Thursday, and the number of active cases in the state increased to 1041.  54 people in the state have died because of COVID-19.
