Lake County reported an additional four new positive COVID-19 cases over the weekend, along with a couple more recovered cases.  According to the State Department of Health, this puts the county’s totals as of Sunday at 94 total positive COVID-19 cases, 76 people recovered and two deaths.  That means there are currently 16 active coronavirus cases in Lake County, and there have been 915 negative tests. 

Statewide over the weekend, there were two more virus-related deaths reported, and 234 additional positive cases.  This puts the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state at just more than 96-hundred as of Sunday, with 1125 of them active at this time.  There have been 146 deaths, and 55 people are currently hospitalized.  

Elsewhere in the area, Brookings County is reporting 26 active cases, and McCook and Moody counties each have five.  There are four active COVID-19 cases in Miner County, and three in Kingsbury county currently.
