Lake County employees recognized
The Lake County Commission on Tuesday recognized April as National County Government month. As part of that, the commission honored several employees for their years of service with the county. Those recognized Tuesday included Commissioner Deb Reinicke for 30 years of service, Equalization Director Rick Becker for 20 years, and 911 Communications Director April Denholm for 15 years of service to the county. Chief Sheriff’s Deputy Sarina Talich also received recognition for ten years of service, along with Commission Chair Kelli Wollmann for ten years.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Chair Wollmann said that this marked the second year that the county was not able to provide tours of the courthouse and information for Madison Elementary students in April as part of the county’s celebration of National County Government month. She said she is hopeful that the program will be able to return again for next year.
