Lake County electronic recycling drop-off event is Saturday

Lake County is holding its free electronic recycling drop-off event on Saturday.  The drop-off is held at the Madison Recycling Center on Southwest 7th Street from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday.  Some of the items that will be accepted are cameras, calculators, CD or DVD players, cell phones, holiday lights, speakers, radios, and televisions.  Some of the items that will not be accepted are microwaves, vacuums, coffee pots, crock pots, and space heaters. The free drop-off is open to residential items only.  Any questions about the event can be directed to either the Lake County Natural Resources or Madison Public Works offices.
