Lake County Commission meeting Tuesday

The Lake County Commission will hold its next regular meeting on Tuesday morning.  County commissioners will meet with Treasurer Deb Walburg regarding tax deed property clarifications and abatements for the elderly tax freeze, and with Emergency Manager Kody Keefer regarding a sandbag purchase and an update to the dive team roster.  

A public tax deed auction for property in Junius will be held at 9:30 Tuesday morning, and Highway Superintendent Nels Nelson will meet with the commission at 10:00, along with Tom Mertz of Loiseau Construction regarding a proposal to depave a portion of 454th Avenue.  

Nelson will also meet with the commission regarding several utility occupancy applications, and a proposal to amend the five year transportation plan and equipment.  

Auditor Bobbi Janke will meet with commissioners Tuesday regarding the 2019 Lake County annual report, and Equalization Director Rick Becker will discuss assessment intentions.

The Lake County Commission meeting on Tuesday morning begins at 9:00 in the commission room in the Lake County Courthouse in Madison.
