The Lake County Commission is holding its regular meeting on Tuesday.
Commissioners are scheduled to hear quarterly reports from Buildings and Grounds, the Community Health Nurse Office, and the Extension Office. Highway Superintendent Nels Nelson will also give his department’s quarterly report and discuss several other items, including an equipment replacement schedule, a resolution for the Bridge Improvement Grant program, and a Federal Safety Fund project. Auditor Paula Barrick will meet with county commissioners Tuesday regarding the disposition of the county’s surplus auction funds, and Commission Administrative Officer Shelli Gust will discuss personnel and provide the EMA’s quarterly report.
A public hearing on a temporary special malt beverage and South Dakota Wine License application for St. Thomas Aquinas Parish is scheduled for 9:15 Tuesday morning. At 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, Zoning Officer Mandi Anderson will present eight plats and a conditional use permit for the commission’s consideration.
Commissioners will hold a discussion on the county’s 2022 budget at the end of Tuesday’s meeting.
