Lake County Commission meeting Tuesday
The Lake County Commission holds its regular meeting on Tuesday morning.
Commissioners are scheduled to meet with Cam Shafer with Sporty’s Bar and Grill to discuss a couple of temporary special on-sale licenses. The commission will also meet with County Highway Superintendent Nels Nelson and Buildings and Grounds Supervisor Dave Hare regarding a public auction and surplus property. Nelson will also meet with county commissioners regarding the county’s gravel pit and poor farm south property core sampling, personnel, and a couple of utility occupancy applications.
Sheriff Tim Walburg is scheduled to discuss personnel with the commission during its meeting tomorrow morning, and Welfare Officer Mandi Anderson has several indigent applications for the commission’s consideration. Anderson will also meet with the commission as the County’s Zoning Officer regarding a conditional use permit, two variance requests, and several plats.
The county commission will hold a 2021 budget discussion at the end of Tuesday’s meeting.
The Lake County Commission meeting begins at 9:00 Tuesday morning in the commission room in the Lake County Courthouse in Madison.
