The Lake County Commission is holding its next regular meeting on Tuesday morning.  The commission will meet with Sheriff Tim Walburg to discuss parking near Lake Henry on 444th Avenue and 239th Street, and also on 462nd Avenue near Brant Lake.  Sheriff Walburg will also discuss personnel with commissioners tomorrow.  

Highway Superintendent Nels Nelson will meet with commissioners Tuesday to discuss a motor grader engine replacement, personnel, and his department’s quarterly report, and County Treasurer Deb Walburg will discuss tax deed property with the commission tomorrow.

Commissioners Kelli Wollmann and Aaron Johnson, along with Commission Administrative Officer Shelli Gust, will discuss COVID-19 updates and items for ratification, and the commission will acknowledge the National County Government Month proclamation.  As part of that, county employees will be recognized for their years of service, including Shirley Ebsen for 30 years, Jennie Thompson for 20 years, Tim Walburg for 15 years with Lake County, and Brian Gilman for ten years.  

The Lake County Commission is meeting in the commission room in the Lake County Courthouse in Madison, starting at 9:00 on Tuesday morning.
