Lake County Commission Makes Adjustments to Budget

At the Lake County Commission meeting yesterday, many items were discussed. The main topic of discussion was the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget, where commissioners had a couple of adjustments made. Administration Officer Shelli Gust spoke on some of the changes made to the overall budget.

Commissioners also acknowledged the referendum petition of the proposed Opt Out.  An election will be held on September 19th where the public can vote on the 2.8 million dollar Property Tax Opt Out that the commission approved last month. 

The Lake County Commissions next meeting will be on Tuesday August 15th at 9:00 AM in the commission room in the Lake County Courthouse.
