The Lake County Commission adopted the county’s budget for 2022 during it’s meeting on Tuesday.
The county’s budget for next year includes total appropriations of just more than 11-point-six-million dollars. Of that, just more than six-point-eight-million dollars is budgeted in the county’s general fund and close to three-point-seven-million dollars in the county’s road and bridge fund.
As part of the commission’s adoption of it’s 2022 budget, it also approved the county’s tax levies for next year. Auditor Paula Barrick said the total amount of taxes to be levied by the county is just more than $4.5 million, with a mil-levy of 2.547.
