Lake County Commission acts on personnel items

The Lake County Commission took action on a few personnel items during its meeting on Tuesday, after meeting in executive session.

The commission approved the resignation of Betty Wise as Deputy Treasurer, effective August 16th and also the resignation of Wayne Reynolds as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the county, effective August 27th.   Commissioners authorized County Human Resource Specialist Shelli Gust to open the positions of Deputy Treasurer and Heavy Equipment Operator for applications.

Commissioners Tuesday also authorized County Auditor Paula Barrick to hire a Deputy Auditor and have the person start if a candidate is selected prior to the next commission meeting. The Deputy Auditor’s position opened in July after the person who held the position transferred to another county office.
