The Lake Area Improvement Corporation (LAIC) has been working on a grant for a new childcare facility in Madison. But to be eligible for the grant funding a survey must be completed by a select group of Madison area residents. Brooke Rollag, Executive Director of the LAIC, says the first round of surveys were mailed out.
Rollag says a childcare facility is a need in Madison.
Rollag says it’s very important if you receive an orange envelope in the mail that you fill out the enclosed survey.
The Madison childcare facility will have 14,000 square feet with a capacity to accommodate up to 140 children and is set to open its doors in 2025.
