It is the season for people to see more sickness, and that has led to an increase in influenza cases in the state.  The state Health Department’s Dr. Joshua Clayton says that influenza activity continues to rise across the state.

Clayton says the majority of the flu cases being seen are the Influenza-B strain.

Clayton says flu cases are likely to reach their peak next month.

Clayton says there have not been any reports of any flu vaccine shortages in the state.
