ICAP adapts programs as part of Coronavirus precautions
Keeping people safe and healthy during this Coronavirus pandemic is the most important thing that every person, business, school and organization can do at this time. Â
Interlakes Community Action Partnership Executive Director Cindy Dannenbring met with Lake County Commissioners during their meeting on Tuesday. Dannenbring met with commissioners to provide an update on I-CAP’s programs. One of those is the Head Start program, which she said is currently closed out of the precautions taken to stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
Dannenbring said another program that they help people with is the Food Pantry, which is located within ICAP’s building. She said they are taking precautions with the people who need to utilize the Food Pantry’s services and will be asking specific questions to help them out.
Dannenbring said ICAP is also taking steps to protect the elderly served by its nutritional program as well.
Dannenbring said they will continue to take it day by day in determining if any further precautions need to be taken in any of ICAP’s programs.
