A number of holiday activities will take place tomorrow in Howard as part of the community’s Hometown Holidays’ celebration.  This year’s theme is Candy Cane Lane, and will include a Show and Sell at the 4-H Exhibit Hall in Howard from 11:00 until 5:00, and the 29th annual Festival of Trees in the Miner County Courthouse from 1:00 until 4:00 Friday afternoon.  There will also be an open house in the Rural Life Museum Friday from 1:00 until 6:00, and horse-drawn wagon rides leaving from the Legion Hall in Howard every fifteen minutes between 3:00 and 5:00 tomorrow afternoon. Kids can visit with Santa and take part in other activities, and there will be a community meal at the Howard Legion Hall from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., followed by a Parade of Lights at 6:15, and fireworks after that.  Bingo, hosted by the Howard Fire Department, starts at 7:00 tomorrow night, and the Madison Master Singers concert will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church at 7:30 Friday night.
