Herman Luce Pioneer Day is Saturday

Anyone interested in learning more about history can check out an event at Lake Herman State Park near Madison this weekend.  It’s the annual Herman Luce Pioneer Day on Saturday, held at the Luce Cabin within the State Park.  Pioneer Day is held from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Some of the activities include rope making, candle making, weaving, butter churning and Dutch oven cooking.  

The activities are free, but a park license is required.
