Governor forms mitigation team

Governor Kristi Noem has formed a mitigation team that will attempt to head off damage from the next disaster.  She says it will involve many state agencies.

Noem says rebuilding damaged infrastructure to previous standards doesn’t help the next time.

Fifty-eight of the state’s counties have been included in at least one federal disaster declaration this year.
