Goeman family pledges to Graceland Cemetery Challenge

Graceland Cemetery on the east side of Madison is facing an expensive project in the near future.  The cemetery needs to remove more than 200 Ash trees because of the Ash Borer infestation in the state.

A Madison family wants to help with the cost of the project and is challenging others to join them.  The Goeman family, including John Goeman and his children Kelli Wollmann, and Jim and Rod Goeman, have announced the Graceland Cemetery Challenge.  The Challenge is in memory of their wife and mother, JoLynn Goeman, who passed away in November of 2017.  The Goeman family has pledged 25-thousand dollars in matching funds in JoLynn’s name to help raise money for tree beautification efforts in the cemetery.  The goal is to raise 50-thousand dollars or more for the project.
