Gas prices slowly trending downward

Gas prices have been slowly fading downward for the past month or so.

Shawn Steward with Triple “A” South Dakota said that trend should continue.

Steward said they have been tracking the price drops consistently.

Steward said world wide events have an impact on gas prices.

Triple “A” said the national average is at four-eighteen a gallon, while they said the average in South Dakota is four-fifteen a gallon. There are some towns, including Madison, with gas prices now at around three-seventy a gallon.
