Gas prices in state starting to decrease

After a surge earlier this fall, gas prices have begun to fall in many areas.

Shawn Steward with Triple “A” South Dakota says they are seeing that in the state and across the country.

Steward says crude oil prices have stabilized.

Steward says demand growing from the pandemic recovery was pushing prices up.

The lowest gas price in the state at this time, according to GasBuddy.com is $2.86 a gallon in Gregory, and the highest is $3.59 in Spearfish.  GasBuddy.com shows the lowest price in Madison at $2.99 per gallon.
