Friday COVID-19 update: Three new deaths and 323 new positive cases statewide

Three new COVID-19 deaths are being reported in the state Friday, bringing the state’s total now to 165.  Along with that, the state Department of Health is also reporting 323 new positive cases statewide, with 2182 of them active and 80 people hospitalized.

Lake County went down a couple of positive cases from Thursday to a total of 111 as of Friday.  With 97 reported as recovered and six deaths, Lake County currently has eight active COVID-19 cases.

In our area, Brookings County currently has 69 active COVID-19 cases, McCook and Moody counties each have seven, Kingsbury County has six active cases, and Miner County has one.
