The state Department of Health is reporting another death in Lake County from COVID-19 Friday.  In information released Friday, the state is now reporting three COVID-19 deaths in the county.  Lake County does not have any new positive COVID-19 cases reported as of Friday, and is reporting four additional recoveries.  This puts the number of active cases currently in Lake County at twelve.

Overall, two total COVID-19 deaths were reported in the state Friday, putting the state’s total at 150.  The state is also reporting 127 new positive cases, now putting the state’s total number of positive cases over ten-thousand.  Of those cases, there are 1101 of them active at this time, and 65 people are currently hospitalized. 

As of Friday in our area, Brookings County currently has thirteen active COVID-19 cases, and McCook County has six.  There are three active cases currently in Moody County, and one each in Miner and Kingsbury counties.
