The state Department of Health reports six more COVID-19 deaths in the state Friday.  This puts the overall virus-related death toll at 1853.  Also Friday, the state is reporting just less than 150 new positive COVID-19 cases.  The overall total number of positive cases in the state is now at more than 111-thousand.  Currently, just more than two-thousand cases are active, and 91 people are hospitalized.

Lake County did not report any new positive COVID-19 cases Friday, but did report three recovered cases.  This now puts the county’s active coronavirus cases at 19.

In our area, Kingsbury County reports 17 active COVID-19 cases, McCook County has 12, and Miner County-10.  Moody County reports nine active cases as of Friday, and Brookings County has dropped to 84.  Brookings County also reports one of Friday’s COVID-19 deaths.
