Flandreau Public School Bomb Threat

Tuesday, at approximately 9:10 am, a threat was called into the Flandreau Public School. The school was immediately put on lock down and students were evacuated.
Approximately 25 uniformed Law Enforcement Officers responded to the call and a bomb disposal unit was also on standby. Incident Command was set-up and teams were created to clear the school. After a search of the school and some of its surroundings, the building was released back to school administrators.
During the search of the facility students were bused to a safe location.
There was also a second Bomb Threat later in the day at 2:20 Pm The School was again cleared and all students were bussed to their homes.
The School is set to be open today for Flandreau.
