First Bank & Trust receives Champion of Health Care Award

The Madison Regional Health Foundation’s Board of Directors presented its Champion of Health Care award during its annual Winter Gala held last week. The Champion of Health Care award was presented to First Bank & Trust.

Madison Regional Health CEO Tammy Miller said First Bank & Trust’s first gift of 125-thousand dollars in 2014 helped in starting the Foundation. She said that they will continue with another pledge of 125-thousand dollars, supporting the Foundation with donations totaling more than 250-thousand dollars by 2024. Miller said that First Bank and Trust was a lender involved in the construction financing for the new hospital and it’s Community President Jon Knuths served on the Foundation’s Board of Directors from 2013 through 2019.

Nearly 300 people attended last week’s third annual Winter Gala for the Madison Regional Health Foundation.
