Feeding SD distribution in Madison moving to 11:30-12:30

The Feeding South Dakota food distribution at the 4-H grounds in Madison will happen a few hours earlier in the day, after action taken last week by the Lake County Commission.

Due to some construction around the 4-H Grounds last week, the route that cars use to pick up the distribution had to be slightly changed. Lake County Buildings and Grounds Superintendent Dave Hare said Feeding South Dakota liked the change.

Hare says changing the route will also leave the north parking lot at the grounds open for 4-H appointments.

The next distribution in Madison will be July 8th, at the new time of 11:30 to 12:30. Hare said there is no reason for individuals to arrive early to the distribution, as Feeding South Dakota has only ever run out of food at the Madison location once.
