Tomorrow’s the day – ESPN’s GameDay will broadcast live from Brookings, and the show is expected to bring in thousands of people.

South Dakota State University and North Dakota State University will face off Saturday afternoon in what has been dubbed the “Dakota Marker” game.

ESPN will broadcast GameDay Saturday morning from the College Green, located northeast of the Campanile on the SDSU campus.  This afternoon’s College Football Live program will also be recorded from the same location and airs this afternoon at 3:30 on ESPN-2.

Brookings Mayor Keith Corbett said ESPN made the decision to broadcast from the campus.

Corbett says parking is among the top concerns, and busses will be running from the Swiftel Center and Larson Ice Center in Brookings.

Mayor Corbett says that there will be several food trucks set up for the event.

The sold-out SDSU and NDSU football game will start at 2:00 Saturday afternoon at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium in Brookings.
