Employers struggle to find workers
New unemployment claims in the state decreased some in the latest information released from the state Department of Labor and Regulation on Thursday. Â
Nathan Sanderson, Executive Director of the South Dakota Retailers Association, says the main complaint among small businesses or large manufacturers is finding workers.
Sanderson says employers are expanding their worker search.
Sanderson says many businesses are working to hang on to their current employees.
The State Department of Labor has about fifteen-thousand open jobs currently on its website.
