Election date set for City & SB

The Madison City Commission and Madison Central School Board have set a joint election date for this spring. If an election is needed for either the city commission or school board or both it will be held on Tuesday, April 9th.

For the Madison City Commission, there are two seats up for election this year: Jeremiah Corbin and Kelly Dybdahl (Dib-dahl). City commissioners serve three-year terms.  

There are also three seats that are up for election this year on the Madison Central School Board; Rich Avery, Lori Schultz, and Steve Nelson.  School Board members also serve three-year terms.

Anyone interested in serving on either the Madison City Commission or Madison Central School Board can start circulating nominating petitions on January 26th. The deadline for nominating petitions to be filed is February 23rd.
