Dakota State University in Madison is beginning the search for a new vice president for technology and Chief Information Officer.  David Overby, who has been with DSU since 2013, has resigned and his last day will be June 21st.

Overby has provided technology leadership and planning for new facilities on the DSU campus, including the Madison Cyber Labs and Beacom Institute of Technology, and established security plans to include new systems, disaster recovery, and security awareness training.

DSU President José-Marie Griffiths said that Overby will be starting in the position of vice president for technology and safety at South Dakota State University in Brookings.   

DSU will begin a search process to fill the position.
