DSU reschedules spring commencement for October 4th

Dakota State University in Madison has rescheduled its Spring 2020 commencement.  Commencement is now scheduled for Sunday, October 4th during the university’s homecoming weekend.  The original commencement scheduled for this Saturday, May 9th, was postponed in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. Both spring and summer graduates will be recognized at the ceremony.

Hooding for DSU master’s degree students will take place at 1:00 in the afternoon of October 4th in the Dakota Prairie Playhouse, and the commencement ceremony will begin in the DSU Fieldhouse at 2:30 p.m.

In the event that health and safety issues arise and the public commencement event cannot be held, the university will hold a virtual commencement on October 4th.
