Identity fraud is a growing problem in the U.S., and one contributing factor to this growth is the increasing number of data breaches.  Dakota State University Cyber Security students and AARP South Dakota are hosting two free community fraud presentations within the next week.  The presentations are scheduled for Saturday, November 2nd and Monday, November 4th from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday’s session will be held at the DSU Beacom Institute of Technology, and Monday’s session will be held in the DSU Karl Mundt Library – Room 201.

The community fraud presentations are aimed at helping citizens of any age with taking the necessary steps to protect their digital identities.

The presentations are free and open to anyone.  The content will be the same for each event, and lunch is provided for all registered guests.  Registration is required as space is limited.
