DSU organizations recognized by Board of Regents

Three Dakota State University organizations were recognized by the South Dakota Board of Regents during their meeting in Madison this week.  The Regents recognized the student organizations from Dakota State for excellence in academic, community, and organizational work.

Receiving the Regents’ Award for Academic Excellence is Phi Beta Lambda.  The goals of Phi Beta Lambda are to encourage career preparation, leadership development, and academic excellence in the business world.  

DSU’s CybHER received the Regents’ Community Service Award.  CybHER aims to empower, educate, motivate, and change the perception of the cyber technologies field among young women and girls.

The Award for Organizational Leadership, presented by the Regents, went to the Lights, Camera, Action Film Club at DSU.  This club creates short films and provides video services to other clubs and departments on the DSU campus.
