DSU hosts research students this summer

Ten students from across the country spent time on the Dakota State University campus in Madison this summer as part of Research Experiences for Undergraduates.  The group this summer studied Internet of Things devices.  Topics include device security exploitation, device identification, smart intelligence transportation, and Internet of Things device digital forensics.

This 2021 research is similar to I-o-T research which took place at DSU in 2019.  No R-E-U students were on campus in 2020 due to COVID-19.

Research mentors from DSU during the 10-week summer program included Robert Richardson, Dr. Bhaskar Rimal, Dr. Ashley Podhradsky, and Dr. Yong Wang. A DSU Doctoral student also supported the research projects.
