DSU hosting virtual teach camp

Dakota State University’s College of Education is hosting a free virtual teach camp for teachers on Friday, June 4th.

This is the second year of the virtual teach camp. It was created during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to offer their annual summer camps for educators online. There were over 400 attendees last year. The one-day event will feature a combination of content that would be shared at DSU STEAM Camp and the Trauma Sensitive Teaching Conference.

Some of the speakers include South Dakota Teacher of the Year Amanda Hargreaves from Mitchell Public Schools, Tina Belden from Estelline Public Schools, Scott Klungseth, a DSU faculty member, and Kristen Mulder from Sioux Falls Christian Schools.

The event will be conducted through Zoom, and teachers need to register by this Wednesday.

Registration information can be found here.
