DSU hosting Midwest Forage Association meeting

Dakota State University in Madison is hosting the Midwest Forage Association’s meeting later this month.  The meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 28th in the Karl Mundt Library.

This is the first meeting that the Association will have in South Dakota.  Dr. Andrew Sathoff worked with Sara Bauder, Forage Extension Agent with South Dakota State University, to arrange the meeting on the DSU campus.

The meeting will start with registration on the 28th, followed by several sessions on various topics.  A representative of Boadwine Dairy, a regional leader in sustainability, will be one of the event’s featured speakers. Boadwine Dairy received a 2022 U.S. Dairy Sustainability Award.

The Midwest Forage Association’s event is hosted in collaboration with South Dakota State University Extension and the Northern Plains Forage Association.

Registration before Tuesday, Feb. 21, will be at a discounted rate. Visit midwestforage.org/SDmeeting.php to register in advance. On-site registration will be available at a higher cost.
