DSU groups receive Regental Awards

Three Dakota State University groups were recently honored with a Regental award at the university’s Honors Reception. These awards are presented by the South Dakota Board of Regents to student organizations to recognize meritorious efforts and achievements in Academic Excellence, Community Service, and Organizational Leadership.

The Phi Beta Lambda Business Club was awarded the Academic Excellence Regental Award for their goals to promote career preparation, leadership development, and academic excellence.

The Regents’ Community Service award was awarded to CybHER Instruction. The group adapted their outreach during the pandemic to institute a weekly CybHER Conversations web program that has reached almost 600 people in 39 U.S. States and 24 countries.

The Lights, Camera, Action Film Club received the Organizational Leadership award. The club creates short films, and provides video services to clubs and departments on campus.
