DSU earns 2020-2021 Military Friendly® School designation

Dakota State University in Madison has earned the Military Friendly School designation for 2020-2021.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than one-thousand schools participated in the 2020-2021 survey with 695 earning the designation.

The list of Military Friendly® Schools will be published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine.

DSU Veteran Affairs Coordinator Austin Slaughter, who is also a member of the South Dakota Army National Guard, said that DSU understands the impact an advanced degree can have on the lives of military students, spouses, and children, whether they want to advance their military career, transition to a civilian career, or start a career.  He said DSU offers affordable tuition programs, quality degrees, and unique partnerships to help them succeed.
